THE SCHOOL :

The Insurance School of TampaBay originally was The Insurance School of Southwest Florida and was founded by Thomas Williams, CLU some twenty years ago. In 2022 Christopher Kazor, CIC, Lutcf, CDEI purchased the school, renamed it the Insurance School of TampaBay, and drastically changed the format from Classroom to online pre-recorded lectures/webinars.

Online Learning and the internet were not new to Kazor. He was one of the first online instructors in 2001 for the Cooke Real Estate School, teaching Pre-License Florida Real Estate nights while teaching all lines of insurance for a large Insurance School, from 2000 until 2005.

Kazor is multi-licensed, initially receiving his Real Estate Sales license in 1984, his Life, Health, Variable Annuities, and Property Casualty License in 1985, and his Florida Real Estate Brokers license in 1992. In a recent interview, Kazor said, “There is a strong nexus between Real Estate and Insurance, and my background in both has given me a better understanding of each discipline.”

In 2005 Kazor started an online insurance agency where he employed video conferencing and placed insurance Kiosks to enhance sales. In 2017 he divested himself of all businesses to spend 100%  of his time with his wife of 28 years, stricken with Pancreatic Cancer.

After a three-year sabbatical, he began studying for his CDEI. The CDEI™  ( Certified Distance Education Instructor) program is designed to be used by persons preparing to teach professional and academic education courses via a variety of distance education for all disciplines.

Kazor is a graduate of Florida State University (FSU), co-founded AdViaTech (Advertising Via Technology ) in 2004, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California. He has written Four Books, three fiction and one nonfiction “Demystifying Insurance”.

He sits on the Board of Directors of AdViaTech, and HelpingClicks, which now owns the Insurance School of TampaBay.

Reviewed and assured sales support material complied with legal and ethical guidelines.  Result: Effective sales materials marketed in compliance with industry requirements.
