The Insurance School of TampaBay now provides Synchronous and non-synchronous classes – A “synchronous class” means students and instructors must be online or present at the same time for live instruction (LIVE STREAMING). In contrast, a “non-synchronous” (or asynchronous) class allows students to access materials and complete assignments at their own pace, without a set meeting time, essentially meaning they are not required to be online simultaneously with the instructor (PRE RECORDED) In simple terms, synchronous classes happen “in real-time” while asynchronous classes do not.
