Agent Producer – Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
1. Interview prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of the property
to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage.
2. Explain features, advantages and disadvantages of various policies to promote the sale of insurance plans.
3. Research and select companies that offer the type of coverage requested by the client.
4. Contact underwriters when appropriate, and submit forms to obtain binder coverage.
5. When suitable, write the appropriate policy(s) for the client. Cross sell other insurance products at appropriate opportunity.
6. Either work with office processor or perform the functions to:
a. Set up client accounts in our database system
b. Obtain required documents and payments, attach them to our database system, and submit them to the carrier.
7. Utilize existing office client base to write additional lines of business. Use office resources and office marketing to find new
clients.
8. Develop networking and referral sources to find new clients and generate lists of prospective clients.
9. Attend online training, team meetings, seminars and programs to learn about new products and services. Learn new skills,
10. Answer phones as a secondary resource.
11. Little to no service is required. We have a different team for that function.
Pay range $45,000 – $75,000
